Pepi Camerlingo

Pepi Camerlingo has been a principal partner with the firm of Avery Camerlingo Kill, LLC, since its inception in November 2000. After graduating from the University of Nebraska (B.S. cum laude, 1992), Ms. Camerlingo obtained her law degree from DePaul University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois. She was admitted to the practice of law in 1995 and has concentrated exclusively in the field of family and matrimonial law.
Ms. Camerlingo has successfully represented numerous individuals in proceedings involving a variety of issues relating to all aspects of dissolution, parentage, and adoption proceedings. These issues include valuation and disposition of complex assets including real and personal property, business interests, and the like. She has also successfully litigated issues involving maintenance (formerly known as alimony), child support, custody, visitation and termination of parental rights. Her negotiation and litigation skills are further enhanced by her strong financial background, having obtained her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in 2000.
Ms. Camerlingo was selected as an “Illinois Rising Stars” for 2008 in family law which appears in the Chicago Magazine Superlawyer edition. Ms. Camerlingo was one of 23 Illinois family law practitioners named to the “Illinois Rising Stars” list. “Illinois Rising Stars” are the top Illinois lawyers chosen by their peers in a survey of more than 55,000 lawyers from across the state.
Professional associations include the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association, and the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants.
